May: Getting in the Groove

Freelancing felt smooth and rewarding this month. I’m starting to find my niche and am excited about future projects. I’m most excited to announce that I added a new client, which I’ll be working with very regularly. I’ll be helping to boost its overall PR and communications efforts. I’m even more excited that the client is a construction contractor making huge strides in the industry.

Here’s what I was up to this month.

  • Created an overall PR/communications plan for my role with the new client.
  • Had an article published on equipment that improves bridge deck safety.
  • Began a couple of ebooks on a revolutionary (and I don’t use that term lightly) construction technology.
  • Worked on case studies and articles related to concrete construction and pavement preservation.

Key Takeaway

There’s never a dull moment in freelancing, and nothing more exciting than starting new projects and finding new great clients. You never know what the next day will bring.
